I know that it is early and I am not pushing the Fall Picnic Committee, but I was beginning to plan my long-term plans for next year and wondered if a location and date was selected for the 2013 Fall Picnic?
Bruce is correct on the date for the next Fall Picnic — Saturday, September 7, 2013. As for the location, although it has not yet been determined, it is *LIKELY* going to be south of I-70 and east of I-65. I hope that narrows it down a bit more for your planning needs. The committee will make an announcement (on Facebook and GC.com forums) as soon as a location is set.
Hmmm… That’s a tough one. I know I can’t say where it is going to be except southish of I-70. I don’t even think the planning committee is sure of that yet.
The date is pretty much set, it’s the same day as the Penrod Arts Festival, or usually the week after the Moonshine event. So I guess you are asking when the Moonshine event is- that’s usually Labor Day weekend. So The Fall Picnic is the weekend after Labor Day Weekend, or in 2013, Saturday, September 7th.
