Hoosier Outdoor Experience at Fort Benjamin Harrison State Park

Over the years Geocaching has been sadly missing from this great weekend event, but thanks to DBBolling and fellow geocachers, geocaching is at the Hoosier Outdoor Experience!  As the first day concludes Josh of “Geo Minions” had this to say “I don’t known about anyone else, but I had a blast teaching muggles about Geocaching. I can’t wait for next year.”  The event is open on Sunday from 9:00 to 5:00, fellow cachers willing to hang around the table and talk caching are always welcome.  No smiley this time, but… there is always next year!

If you attended the Hoosier Outdoor Experience and would like to learn more (or really wish we had a brochure)  Here is a great introduction to geocaching brochure put together by our friend CyBret (not his real name) over at Geocacher University, or you can watch this video from the geocaching.com website.  I hope to see you on the trail or at an event soon.

About Bruce

I am cartoonist by night and public school teacher by day. After introducing caching to my wife in 2005 I was left in the dust and in decided to assist Cecil-Evil GeoCaching Monkey on his quest for world domination (in 2009 my wife requested I no longer log any caches under "our" name). I have taken Cecil caching around the country (& England) to many events and have even picked up the Triad (& have the coin to prove it). One of my favorite caches is "Get A Life" GCZJ5Z in the same vein I also enjoyed getting Batman's Batcave & The Gorn's Lair.
