January 2014 Geocaching Events

Happy New Year!  kind of snuck up on me with all the visiting family and traveling that comes with the holidaze.  Didn’t get as much caching in as I would have liked, but that happens sometimes.

As for events with winter comes weather and sometimes it is frightful outside.  January looks like it will be reminding us what winter is like, so stock up on your French Toast supplies and we ready for some frigid temperatures.  This also causes a fewer number of events, so as of the new year here’s what we have:

Registration for GeoWoodstock XII opens!
It really helps the event organizers if you register on their site so they can plan ahead, it is also the best way to guarantee that you get all the commemorative SWAG tied to the event.

About Bruce

I am cartoonist by night and public school teacher by day. After introducing caching to my wife in 2005 I was left in the dust and in decided to assist Cecil-Evil GeoCaching Monkey on his quest for world domination (in 2009 my wife requested I no longer log any caches under "our" name). I have taken Cecil caching around the country (& England) to many events and have even picked up the Triad (& have the coin to prove it). One of my favorite caches is "Get A Life" GCZJ5Z in the same vein I also enjoyed getting Batman's Batcave & The Gorn's Lair.
